The first Welfare & Policy Conference “Individual and collective responses to a troubled world” will take place in Bordeaux on May 4-5.
The conference aims to take stock of recent evidence on individual and collective behavior in the light of repeated shocks (pandemics, conflicts, natural disasters,…) as well as on consequences and implications for economic policies, democratic rules, environmental transitions, social and health systems, labor market regulations, etc., for social scientists to be able to assist decision-makers in designing more equitable, efficient and widely supported policies.
Contributions in various domains of applied and theoretical economics are welcome, as well as quantitative social psychology and political sciences.
