JDD 2026
ERUDITE and the Faculty of Economics and Management of Université Gustave Eiffel are delighted to host the next AFEDEV Development Doctoral Days on January 15–16, 2026, in Champs-sur-Marne.
This two-day event is designed for PhD students in Development Economics to present their research and exchange ideas with peers and faculty.
Why participate?
- Share your work with a supportive and academic audience in your field.
- Receive valuable feedback from senior researchers and other PhD students.
- Discuss the work of your peers in a collaborative setting.
All development economics topics are welcome, but priority is given to full paper submissions and to submissions by 1st or 2nd year PhD students (extended abstracts and submissions of more advanced PhD students are also accepted). Priority will also be given to PhD students who have never participated before. To promote geographical diversity, we encourage one senior researcher from the selected candidate’s faculty to also participate in the event. However, this is not a requirement for acceptance.
More information:
- Two days of presentations, discussions, and networking.
- A group dinner in the city center of Paris on January 15th.
- No registration fee. Participants cover their own travel and accommodation costs, and they must be members of AFEDEV at the time of the conference.
Submission deadline: December 1st 2025
