ICDE 2024
The International Conference on Development Economics (ICDE) is the annual conference of the French Association for Development Economics (AFEDEV).
AFEDEV federates the scientific and professional development economics community in France. It promotes research, training and all types of work involving scientific expertise in this field.
Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) is hosting ICDE 2024.
We will be delighted to welcome 3 guest researchers:
- Farzana AFRIDI, Indian Statistical Institute, University of Toronto
- Garance GENICOT, Georgetown University
- Hein DE HAAS, University of Amsterdam
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for discussion of development economics research. Both empirical and theoretical contributions on a wide range of topics are welcome. Issues of interest include, but are not limited to, agriculture, climate change, conflict, digitisation, employment, energy policy, environment, firm performance, growth, health, inequality, international trade, migration, monetary policy, population, poverty, welfare and insurance, taxation and vulnerability.
We actively encourage the participation of young researchers and researchers based in the South.
